Hello Cycling: tap your IC card to start a bike (not e-bikes)

Register a Suica/Pasmo in the HELLO CYCLING app and you can tap to start a regular bike without booking. Electric-assist bikes can NOT be started with an IC card; use the app.

Check first: App registration may need a Japanese phone number
